LOWRANCE ENDURA SIERRA

Check out the Endura Family here! We just ordered a new GPSr as we wanted to try a new interface. Does anyone use any of the new Endura Series GPS's??? Currently we use the Garmin 400t and have enjoyed it for the most part, other than the signal bounce. If anyone has some pointers on these new units please let us know about them as we want to know as much as we can when it arrives this week. Now for the bad news, the closest cache to test this new unit out on is 17 miles as the crow flies from our front door!!!

See you next month in Buford!

Don't know a thing about the Lowrance GPSr's so can't help there. We have had 3 GPSr's and all three have been Garmins and we have no issues at all with our current unit, a 60csx. On the other point, I don't mean to sound insensitive but we found all the caches within 100 miles of our house in the first 6 months considering there were only 6 caches in Rawlins at the time. We have to make a trip of at least 120 miles to do any caching at all but we enjoy it so much, we do that quite a bit. Enjoy your new unit and we will see you in Buford for sure! 8)
Anything can be fixed using Duct tape or WD40...
If it moves & it shouldn't, use the Duct tape
If it doesn't move and it should, use the the WD40

Sean & Abby,

I, like Lee, have always been a Garmin user. (I just got my new Oregon 450 last week) That being said, I know a few people in the Black Hills Geo club that are devout Lowrance users. In my experience caching with them they have been extremely accurate and rock solid. Good luck with your new GPSr! :D - Gary
