Devils lake ND

I will be working at Devils lake tomorrow and should have a few minutes to get a cache or two however when I ran a pocket query tonight it shows that there is not a cache within 10 miles of it. I found that hard to believe for a town of about 7500 people so I ran another one of a nearby town just to check and that is right. What a disapointment.
And I thought that Wyoming was sparse in places. Actually ND has just a few more than 800 caches in the entire state.\It makes one appreciate all of the cachers we have in Wyoming. Thanks to you all!!!

A couple of years back I remember reading some posts on GC.com by a member that had just been stationed at Minot AFB ( as if that wasn't bad enough, poor soul ) about the utter lack of caches in North Dakota. That reminds me of when we first started caching here in Gillette, there were less than 20 caches available when we ran a PQ for the area. Sometimes I wish there were more available now, but after hearing your story, it reminds me of something that I always tell the kids..."Be thankful for what you have, not for what you wish you had." Just my 2 cents.....
