Pre-State get-together

Peggy and I were notified by Gary of Team5150 a few days ago that he and his family would be staying the night last night in Rawlins. They left Gillette yesterday morning with the intentions of caching their way to Rawlins and spending the night at the KOA. We had decided that we would go out to dinner together and then it dawned on me that Thursday is Music In The Park night in Rawlins. What that consists of is a different musical group performing each week for free and people gather to eat dinner, snack, listen to the music and socialize. There are several vendors at the park serving a variety of items such as hamburgers, hot dogs, pizza, mexican food, beer, pop, ice cream and even smooties. So it was decided that we would all go up and partake of the activities. Gary called us about 5:10 and said he was in town and wanted to know what the plan was. I told him to come over and we would head up to the park. Once at the park, we removed the lawn chairs from the back of Peggy's TrailBlazer and we headed up the hill to set up where we normally sit, under a stand of trees in front of the pavilion, where the groups always set up. Once we had established our seating arrangements, we headed off in different directions to the food vendor of our choice. I had a hamburger, Peggy had a hot dog, Gary had a smothered burrito, Matthew had two tacos, Faith had pizza and Kayla had a double cheeseburger. Gary and I each had a micro brew from the refreshments vendor and the rest had pop. We sat and visited and a few friends came and sat down near us so we did the introduction thing. The rest of the evening was spent talking, listening to music and enjoying a beautiful Wyoming evening. When we first arrived at the park, the wind was howling but as the evening moved along, the wind quit totally and it was a warm, calm, very pleasant evening. It was so pleasant, we stayed until the very end of the concert and when we were headed home, Peggy decided we would take Team5150 back to a cache they had not found previously. We took them to the appropriate area and with the aid of a flashlight, they came up with the elusive find. We then returned to our house where Team5150 got into their Durango and headed to the KOA to check in and get some rest. They had a long, tiring but productive and fun day. Thanks Gary, Faith and Matt for coming and spending time with us, we enjoyed the evening even more than we normally do and you are welcome any time! They are headed out this morning for the state event in Mountain View, caching along the way. They will be staying at the KOA so we are looking forward to getting together with them on Saturday evening for a bonfire and maybe a s'more fest! :D :D :D
Anything can be fixed using Duct tape or WD40...
If it moves & it shouldn't, use the Duct tape
If it doesn't move and it should, use the the WD40
